It’s hard to say what Sagan Lockhart is.
For sure he is a human, but a human what? A skater? A photographer? A musician? An artist? A chicken wing griller? There are a lot of multihyphenates out there in the world trying to make work that covers all, but really all they’re doing is dividing their 100% into ten tiny crappy pieces. Sagan is able to do so much and yet retain a standard of quality for all. He’s taken some of our favorite photos, he’s supported our favorite music and skate scenes - when trying to define a man as diversely talented and with a hand in a bit of everything to the point that his name raises a smile in every city he’s a bit of a legend.
Photo books, art shows, albums, skate wheels - you mean to tell me this fuckin’ guy does everything? How am I supposed to write an intro to that? It’s impossible. He’s a bit of everything and a bit of a legend, and we were dying to see what this guy carries around with him on the daily, and also what his grilling situation is like, and so here we are, loving it.
