We Threw A Release Party At Saturday’s NYC In Soho

Photography By Steven Stinson

It was fucking freezing Wednesday night but that didn't stop our amazing friends in New York City from coming out to celebrate twenty years of Monster Children.

All of the cool people you kinda know from somewhere got together at Saturday’s NYC to drink beer and look at photos taken by some of our all time favorite photographers, like Spike Jonze, Ed Templeton, Cheryl Dunn, Sam Muller, Greg Hunt, Andrew Peters, Thomas Campbell, Elena Saviano, Naquan Rollings, and Andrew Quilty. Naz made tote bags that were gone as soon as he put them out and I think we all walked away with a new favorite canned alcoholic beverage (did you know Juneshine makes vodka sodas now? And Madre Mezcal has one of the best seltzers I think I’ve ever had?) I even heard the people who wandered in just looking for free beer saying the magazine was “actually really cool”. It was a great night and we hope to see you at the final party in Los Angeles on Friday night.

Thank you to Saturday’s NYC for putting up with our bullshit.

Photography exhibit on view at Saturday’s NYC until January.
