You Should Go: Slowtide x Art Helps Heaps In And Around LA

Slowtide, the surfer’s only choice in towels and comfort linens, has teamed up with an organization very close to us, Art Helps Heaps, to put on a series of charitable events up and down this the Southern Californian Coast this week.

The art shows are put on by Slowtide and curated by Art Helps Heaps to the benefit of Creativity Explored, a studio and gallery in San Francisco that supports a neurodiverse community of over one hundred and thirty five artists with disabilities, providing opportunities to create, exhibit, and sell their work. Creativity Explored’s life-changing programs continue to open doors of inclusion to center the personhood and creative vision of people with developmental disabilities.

Artists featured include Cali Dewitt , Samedi Djeimguero, Bailey Elder, Eric Elms, Roy Fowler, Evan Hecox, Julian Klincewicz, Ruby Neri, Russ Pope, Alexis Ross, Jenny Sharaf, C.r. Stecyk Iii & Ed Templeton.

This is a cause that is extremely worthwhile, very close to our hearts, and deserving of a bit of your time and support. 100% of proceeds will be donated, and no dollar is wasted. See some art, buy a towel, do some good this week.
