Watch: Getting The Juice With Jules Featuring Joey Valence & Brae

If you speak to anyone that was at Laneway last year chances are they will bring up the set that Joey Valence & Brae played in the tent.

I admittedly didn’t know much about the duo at the time but as I watched thousands of people push their way into the arms of the pit, I began to pay attention. The hold that Joseph Bertolino and Braedan Lugue had over these people while they, too, jumped around the playground that is their stage, was pretty fucking cool to watch.

In an age where everyone seems to surrender less and less to the wisdom that can only be found in the pit or on a dancefloor, these two seem to have figured out the secret sauce to casting off all restraint. So, while the guys recently returned to Sydney to play some shows for the Australian leg of their worldwide tour of HYPERYOUTH, I decided to take the opportunity to sit down with them and get to know them a little better.
