Monster Children and Sun Bum are proud to present a new film, Differentiation.

A story about standing out with Caity and Timo Simmers. When it comes to the Simmers family, there’s no need for an introduction. We know all about Caity and Timo’s respective relationships with fibreglass and salt water - and just how beneficial they’ve been. But what about their own shared dynamic? Brother, sister, competitor, free surfer, family, friends, sparring partners. A shared bond by blood and a distinction driven by life’s many choices that we intended to find out over one long weekend on the tip of Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula. And while we weren’t blessed with days of waves, the postcard scenery, moments of meditation, and time together opened the page to a deeper story. A reflection on distinctions, this is Differentiation.
