GoPro x Monster Children
The Aloha State
Brief
GoPro was well known for their action-oriented POV capabilities, but wanted to show that their cameras can also be used more broadly: namely, for more traditional photography and cinematic video capture.
The Work
Monster Children showcased the camera’s abilities by capturing a short film that would traditionally be shot on a DSLR or RED. We took it one step further and printed a zine with photos shot entirely on GoPro, proving that the camera’s photo mode produces high-resolution imagery that can stand alongside the aforementioned cameras.
The Content
Shot entirely on GoPro (video and photography), and featuring GoPro team riders, as well as special guest Evan Mock, The Aloha State is a dreamy collection of imagery captured in Hawaii.
Custom Zine and Insertion
Monster Children designed and produced a custom 32 page zine inserted into every copy of the magazine, with an additional print run for GoPro offices and retailers.
