Goodbrands x Monster Children

The Good Trip

Branded Content
Experiential
Made for Social Assets

Brief

Goodbrands identified creative tastemakers as a target consumer, but didn’t have the network or audience to make it happen on their own. The cannabis brand tasked Monster Children with creating a branded video series, delivering social assets, procuring key talent across various California markets, and throwing an impactful launch party for product seeding to increase brand awareness.

The Work

Working with well-known creatives like the designer and guitar builder Nicholas Pourfard, artist Sean Newport, jewelry maker Megan Rugani, photographer Adri Law, and professional skateboarder Mike Anderson, Monster Children curated a cast of likeminded individuals with credibility, reach, and respect. We visited each individual in their studio to document their process and learn about the relationship between cannabis and creativity. Each talent then hosted a small event in their home city (San Diego, LA, Ventura, San Francisco, and Oakland) to showcase their work. We ended the tour with a huge send off event in Los Angeles with cars from Paradise Road Show, a photo show of Adri Law’s work, free tattoos, and a performance by the band Wavves. MC handled all aspects of content and event production, including: talent negotiations, stage build, live sound, vendor management, and more for the successful execution of Goodbrands’ largest and most successful content and live event series to date.
