What tunes was Nora listening to during the making of this magazine?

Quite a weird selection, we’d say. Bit of everything genre-wise, but definitely trending toward an upward tempo, which we reckon makes sense considering what Nora is like to be around. She  is quite ‘up’ as they say, as a person. To be around her is to be enveloped in an energy, an exuberance, a certain melodic upward-nes, like when a band starts playing and suddenly the tepid crowd you were at the center of becomes engulfed in a rhythm. Not to sound too charming, but Nora has a knack for sweeping you off your feet, and so does this playlist. From boygenius to The Strokes to The Beth’s to Skullscrusher to the ever-charming Stereolab, consider us swept.
