God Must Be A Cowboy

Photos by Tim Swallow.

Have you ever met a cowboy or cowgirl?

I have. Sweet creatures they are. Talk slow, move slow and have always some of the most impressive music knowledge of anyone I’ve met. I guess that’s what long hours driving, riding or walking all day every day would do to a person. We see a lot of ourselves in the cowboys and girls, with their love for music, being out in the sun and going somewhere slow. Since 1947, Wrangler has epitomised the cowboy spirit, inspired by the Western culture, fashion and music that makes it. Originally created to serve the needs of farm hands and rodeo riders, Wrangler is now the uniform of the youth, the music lovers and those who each have a bit of cowboy and girl in them. With the 30 degree heat and stellar lineup of music at Laneway in Sydney over the weekend, the cowboys and girlies were out in force and dressed in Wrangler, of course. A weekend of tunes, sunshine and and very, very well dressed individuals. Here’s photo proof.
