Gee Tee at The Lansdowne

Remember me? You probably don’t, and that’s fine. I don’t remember you either.

2022 seemed to be the make-or-break year for live music, and boy, was it close to breaking. But come 2023, live music is well and truly thriving again. In my opinion (that no one asked for), this year will be bigger than ever before; local bands are back playing weekly, international tours are locked in, and for some reason, your mum now listens to death metal. 2023 is going to be good.

Anyhoo, enough of that. Last week, Gee Tee blew the back out of the Lansdowne Hotel with help from rock friends Dumbells and 1-800-Mikey. Honestly, I didn’t take any notes on the night as I was enjoying myself too much. But who wants to read anyways? Check out the photos for the best understanding of the night. Next time these bands play, I urge you to go see them. You won’t be disappointed. The last few years, we’ve all lost precious time experiencing live music together, so get off your ass and go see a death metal concert with your mum. I mean, you don’t have to, but you get my point! Support live music.
