‘Where’s My Pig?’

I’ve visited Nic Cage’s grave. He’s not dead yet, but I’ve seen his tomb.

It’s a big white pyramid in New Orlean’s famous St Louis. No. 1 cemetery (the same cemetery from the acid trip scene in Easy Rider), and when he’s finally interred in that pyramid, visitors will be able to view his remains through a small window. Did your eyebrows move when you read that? Probably not. Go grab a hand mirror and see if they budge during this next bit… Are you ready? In his new movie, Nicolas Cage plays an anguished man searching for a pig. It’s called PIG.

I could’ve told you Nicolas Cage has made a movie about pushing grapes up his nose on a speedboat and you still wouldn’t have been surprised. ‘A truffle hunter who lives alone in the Oregonian wilderness must return to his past in Portland in search of his beloved foraging pig after she is kidnapped,’ reads the blurb beneath the trailer, which you should watch immediately. PIG will be in theatres on July 16.
