The city of London is no stranger to knife violence.
Knife crime is now a serious threat to British youth (in particular, males under the age of 16), and the powers that be have got no idea what to do about it. Instead, a community of young men has decided to take matters into their own hands. Director Matt Dempsey’s cinematic short Knives Down, Bikes Up delves into a group of young bike riders offering an alternative path for kids that may otherwise have been lured down a vicious path.
