Last week, Joe Hoffman experienced every surfer’s worst nightmare: a life-threatening injury from a three-metre great white shark.
The 25-year-old Northern Rivers surfer was bitten on the arm while surfing at Crescent Head in NSW’s Mid North Coast, and while he remains in a stable condition, the severity of the bite means multiple surgeries and extensive (and expensive) rehabilitation ahead.
Joe will be facing considerable financial hardship and won’t be able to provide income for himself for the foreseeable future, so his good mates at Thrills and in the local community have banded together to raise much-needed funds.
Thrills will be matching donations up to $2000, and to further entice you to give back to someone in need, everyone who donates will go into the draw to win a brand new 5’11 Bat Wing Twin Daniels Surfboard. All you’ve got to do is:
1. Make a donation to the Go Fund Me Page here.
2. Send us the receipt (through Instagram DM or email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
3. We’ll match your donation
4. You’ll go into the draw to WIN a brand new 5’11 Bat Wing Twin Daniels Surfboard + we’ll send you a special 20% off Thrills discount code as a thank you for your generosity
