Sonos is rolling out a series of artist-curated radio stations, and they’re kicking things off with none other than D’Angelo.
The elusive artist has named his station Feverish Fantazmagoria, which Sonos has revealed is out February 13 and will include tracks from A Tribe Called Quest, Curtis Mayfield, Led Zeppelin, Raphael Saadiq, Grace Jones, and more.
‘This is a curation of sorts – a collection of musical expressions that I call Feverish Fantazmagoria,’ D’Angelo said. ‘It includes some crate digging; a lot of psych-rock and funk rock in there, even some gospel and soul. Just a lot of incredible music that’s fun and inspires me.’

Elsewhere on the lineup, the name dropping continues: FKA twigs, The Chemical Brothers, and Björk have been confirmed. In Sonos’ Instagram post, FKA twigs says her station, dubbed main squeeze, will include ‘music I like to get ready to with my friends, songs that have got me through heartbreaks, backstage nerves, and nights out.’ She also recounts the music that’s inspired her throughout her career, citing ‘360° visionaries like Prince, André 3000 and Grace Jones’ that have made her ‘fall in love with music over and over again.’
