For nine days in July, Splendour in the Grass will actually be Splendour in the City.
Who likes grass anyway? It’s just mud waiting to happen—concrete is way better, and they’ve got a shit-load of the stuff at the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay, Sydney—and that’s where Splendour in the City is being held from Saturday 10 to Sunday 18 July. There’ll be music (Spacey Jane, Tash Sultana, Ocean Alley, Ziggy Ramo, Alice Skye, Violent Soho, Vera Blue, Dune Rats, A.GIRL, and more), comedy (Nikki Britton, Tom Ballard, Michael Hing, Nazeem Husain, and our old mate John Cruckshank among others) food, drink, balloons probably, markets, The Strummer Bar, stuff for little kids to do, a VR Room (where you can get a sneak preview of the Splendour XR world before the online event), art (you love art!), and a whole lot of happy people like the one’s in this video.
