Rent A Room At The Fresh Prince Home With Airbnb

After giving movie-lovers the chance to spend the night in the last Blockbuster on earth, Airbnb is at it again, and this time you can rent a room in the Banks’ family mansion The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air.

Advertised by the Fresh Prince himself, Will Smith, the rapper-turned-actor’s listing for the property reads: ‘Ready for the freshest staycation ever? If this place looks familiar that’s because it’s just as fly as it was when I first rolled up the driveway. I’m back. And this time, I’m handing you the keys so you’ll have my wing of the mansion all to yourself—but my sneaker collection is off-limits, aight?’

Coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the sitcom, this unique stay in ‘Will’s Wing’ includes access to the mansion’s impressive pool and outdoor area, a wardrobe chock full of memorabilia and outfits from the show you can try on, turntables spinning classic hip-hop tunes curated by DJ Jazzy Jeff, and the chance to lace up a fresh pair of Jordans before shooting hoops on the basketball court in the bedroom. All meals are provided, with guests served Philly cheesesteaks on silver platters, while DJ Jazzy Jeff will be on hand to (virtually) greet the chosen few who manage to book at night at the mansion. The best part is the price, with one night in this epic home costing just US$30, which is an absolute steal.

Although Uncle Phil won’t be there to lay down the law, there are a few rules to abide by, including no pets and a maximum of two people staying per night. The listing also explains this is a socially distanced staycation, and guests may have ‘a wing of the manor to [themselves] from check-in to check-out, with no other guests in the house during your stay (not even a family member from Philly).’

While you don’t have to be born and raised in West Philadelphia to spend the night here, bookings are only open to resident of Los Angeles County for now, so anyone not from there will have to make do with watching re-runs of The Fresh Prince from the comfort of your own home.
