Off The Rails at House of Rounds

Never say no to a free gig, especially with a lineup like this.

Jameson House of Rounds hit the road for the first time ever this past weekend, leaving Sydney’s city limits for the Northern Rivers. Hosted at The Rails, House of Rounds brought the kind of frenetic energy never before seen at the local institution—helped along by an apocalyptic storm front that rolled through mid-set.

The locals rolled through early (the first 100 lucky punters collecting their free Jameson Soda, Ginger, Lime and Thrills x Jameson hat on the way), and caught sets from The Dharma Chain, Bed Club, Full Flower Moon Band, Middle Kids, and last but definitely not least, Mini Skirt, who popped their Rails cherry with their very first gig at the Byron joint.

Though the weather gods did their best to sideswipe House of Rounds’ best-laid plans, the only thing it managed to dampen was clothes, and the evening’s festivities rolled on loud and late. A huge thanks to Jameson Whiskey, THRILLS, and The Rails for an epic night of live music and free-flowing beverages. Let’s do it all again real soon.
