New York’s Electric Lady Studios will play host to 30 of Daniel Johnston’s artworks at the end of this month.
Titled Daniel Johnston: Psychedelic Drawings, the show will be presented by Outsider Art Fair and available to view both in-person and online, for Daniel fans far and wide. A space that played host to the creative genius of The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Stevie Wonder, David Bowie, Patti Smith and countless more is a fitting exhibition space for a songwriter who had a profound effect on everyone who knew and loved his music and art, and you can bet we’ll be logging on to check the show out.

‘I began building my own collection of Daniel’s work and recognised that a separate collection for the studio would be great inspiration for musicians recording here,’ explained Lee Foster of Electric Lady. ‘The creative dialogue begins instantly when people see them.’
Daniel Johnston: Psychedelic Drawings will be available to view from January the 28th until February the 7th. Get your tix here.
