Brian Eno Releases Decades of Unheard Music from the Archives

It’s a good day to be a Brian Eno fan.

The prolific musician has just opened up a whole vault of unheard music on his new station The Lighthouse, available to listen only on Sonos Radio. Described as an ‘extensive archive of unreleased work’, his station will serve as a ‘living collection to premiere past and new musical projects’.

Presented in a three-part series and playing in a random sequence, Eno said that the earliest track included in the mix at the moment is 1990, but he’s got plans to open the archive up further and dig a little deeper into his illustrious musical past. Eno joins the ranks of a group of hugely influential musicians who’ve gotten on the decks for Sonos Radio, including Thom Yorke, D’Angelo, Chemical Brothers, Björk, and FKA Twigs.
