You Missed It: The Monster Children BIGSOUND Showcase

First and foremost, what a time, thanks for coming.
Especially to five of our favorite Australian artists who played our showcase - Milly Strange, Any Young Mechanic, Stimpies, Kate Moth, and Local The Neighbour - an enormous thank you, it was a hell of a time. We are absolutely delighted, elated, blessed, honored, and many more sentimental words of illustrative feeling to announce the winner of Up and Monster Children’s artist support initiative, the winner of the grand prize of $20,000 dollars, the Upstarter of all upstarters, Local The Neighbour. Atta-fuckin’-boy, mate. What will he do with all that cash? Hopefully buy us a Guinness or forty. We’ll check in in a couple of months and find out where that money went, but in the meantime, congratulations, and thanks again.
