Recap: The FA Skate Jam In LA

It’s been two weeks since the mayhem at the Fucking Awesome Skate Jam in Hollywood.

Two weeks in the real world is like two years in the internet world. My photo lab was closed for a week after the event and as I watched the plethora of images roll in from all the other photographers and media accounts, I contemplated my decision to shoot some film and how unnecessary that might have been. My undeveloped pictures were seemingly becoming more and more redundant as the days went by.

Finally a  notification popped up in my email from WeTransfer and it was time see what I was pointing a camera at those many moons ago. I’d already relived the day through everyone else’s lens and had been paranoid that I would just have more of the same images or even worse that I had missed the most important moments that others had already captured. Both of these concerns rang true, but there was also a few surprise moments that I’d captured and hadn’t yet seen in all the recaps.
