Recap: Nicole McLaughlin X Vans Vault

Nicole McLaughlin—the designer with a knack for upcycling (which is a term for making cool new things out of old things that used to be other things)—and Vans Vault collaborated on a brand spanking new shoe that released over the weekend at Vans DTLA, and it was a good time.
If you haven’t read our interview with her yet, give it a read. She’s as fun as her designs, and we are stoked on the shoe that reflects her personality and sustainability ethics. We turned Vans DTLA into a big ol’ marketplace that featured vendors like Large Lemonade, Latinx With Plants, Amigo Roasters, and Courage Bagels. It was a packed house full of puppies, coffee lovers, Vans shoes, and lox bagels. A good time indeed.
