Monster Children Presents: Nick Green’s ‘Dark Seas’ Exhibition

Tasmanian photographer and friend of Monster Children, Nick Green, brings DARK SEAS to Monster Children Gallery from 12–15 November.

Capturing towering dolerite cliffs, thundering Southern Ocean swells, seabirds, kelp forests and the quieter moments in between, DARK SEAS is the result of more than ten years spent returning to one of Australia's wildest stretches of coastline.

More than a study of the landscape, the project explores our connection to wild places, the importance of conservation and the restorative power of the natural world. Magnificent, a little moody, and best seen up close.

Alongside a collection of large-scale black-and-white photographs, the exhibition features a short film screening and the Sydney launch of Nick's 256-page fine-art photography book, featuring a foreword by environmentalist Bob Brown.

Swing by for opening night on Thursday 12th November, 5–7:30pm, or drop in over the weekend.

See you there.
