It's A Wonderful, Wild Life

Kris and Doug Tompkins might have started off as the original dirtbag climbers, surfers and skiers but they still know a thing or two about business.

With Kris becoming the CEO of Patagonia for fifteen years, and Doug the founder of The North Face, and Espirit, this power couple launched the outdoor clothing world as we know it. And while we’ve got entrepreneurs trying to capitalise on rich people wanting a joy ride into Space, these two used their business thinking brains to saving the Earth. How? By buying it. Wild Life documents the two business moguls turned high impact conservationists in their bid to affect the largest private land donation in history, and while any National Geographic documentary is enough to get anyone inspired (love you forever David Attenborough) we thought this one would be especially great at firing up any filmers who haven’t yet submitted their film to the Monster Children Short Film Awards here.

Wild Life will be screened at the Byron, Melbourne, Sydney, and Torquay Patagonia stores in the middle of May. Screenings are free but registrations are essential, full details here.
