In Case You Missed It: Converse Cons AS-1 Launch in Melbourne

In case you somehow and very regrettably didn’t show up to the Converse Cons AS-1 Pro Launch event in Melbourne this passed weekend, we showed up for you.
I realized halfway through writing that sentence that around 500 people RSVP’d and rather than not showing up, you probably couldn’t even get in the door, and now I feel bad. I’m sorry you missed it. We missed it, too. Luckily, a photographer, Bryce Golder, made it through the doors and shot some photos for us. Everything looked sick and just perfectly the height for me to have done, maybe, a tail slide. That said, I’m quite a shy skater and looking at these photos, there appeared to be a whole lot of shit going down, so who knows. I’d probably have done a sloppy and sat down to drink Mezcal for a couple hours while the youngings took turns showing me up. Anyway, good party, good event, good shoe, good people, good skating, good fun, good times. Cheers.
