Michelle Zauner is Japanese Breakfast is J Brekkie.

Complicated? It’s not. It’s nicknames; it’s pseudonyms. They are titles of sorts, but if those don’t translate as well for an artist like Michelle, then try Best Selling Author, Award Winning Musician, Style Icon, or any of the other titles one might fit the indie darling. Project Pabst 2025, the beloved music festival brought to you by Pabst Blue Ribbon and independent promoter True West, took place in Portland, Oregon over a weekend last month and it was quite a thing. The weekend included performances by Built To Spill, Iggy Pop, Devo, Deathcab For Cutie, and of course, Japanese Breakfast.

We sent a disposable camera up for J Brekkie to shoot around on site. This is what she came back with.
