Add It To The Calendar: Dog-Eared Darwin Print Fair
Dog-Eared Darwin Print Fair is the first of its kind fair in the top end, showcasing artist books, zines, photobooks, risograph editions and experimental print from around the country and the broader Asia-Pacific region.
Running from 14–16 August 2026, it is an opportunity to explore the incredible world of art books and contemporary print media, browse unique works, purchase rare editions and meet the creators behind them. With the Larrika Country having always served as an important meeting place, the Dog-Eared Darwin Print Fair serves as an important event to continue the rich storytelling of the region and beyond.
‘Countless stories have been created and shared here. Yet the first stories of this Country belong to the Larrakia people and our ancestors. One of the most significant is that of Dariba Nungalinya, Old Man Rock, a sacred creator-being and important cultural site located off the coast of Casuarina Beach.’

Across the three days there will be plenty to gawk and marvel at with exhibitors including Laundry Gallery, Krack!, Artlink, Perimeter Books, Northern Centre for Contemporary Arts, Skycans, Cahyati Press, Dishevel Books, Voiceworks Magazine, Bintang Press, MOM Publishing, Slouch, Ornate Gesture, Magabala Books, Bicy Printmaking, Bacteria Books, 51 Personae, Xeno Press, Scans, Mudcrab Club, Creep Curlew Collective just to name a few.
