adidas Skateboarding and Fast Times presented Skate Copa Classics in Melbourne over the weekend, and it was a doozy.
RMIT’s basketball courts played host to an open session and cash for tricks comp, with over 150 local skaters and adidas team riders turning out on the day. International team riders included Mike Arnold, Magnus Bordewick, Maite Steenhoudt, Gustav Tonnesen, Kai Kishi, Kotora Mitani and Laurence Keefe, along with a homegrown contingency made up of Dennis Durrant, Tom Snape, Gabriel Summers, Brad Saunders and Juzzy Reid. The team shredded recreations of iconic Melbourne obstacles: a City of Melbourne tram barrier, the Docklands numbers, the yellow peril and Sailyards banks, and the popular inner-city curb cut. Check out all the action below.
