Equinor is having another crack at the Bight, and the Australian public is the only thing standing in their way.
The Norwegian company has been forced to resubmit its plan to drill for oil in the Great Australian Bight before November 29. To make sure their filthy mitts stay well away from the South Australian coastline, an unprecedented National Day of Action is taking place across Australian beaches this Saturday, November 23. Over 50 paddle-out protests are happening from Exmouth to Townsville this weekend, and if you give even the slightest shit about opening a giant oil basin in a pristine marine environment, get your board and get to any one of these Australian locations.
