Pro skater Leo Valls convinced officials in one of France’s biggest cities, Bordeaux, to let the people skate.
The Magenta pro and longtime Bordeaux local’s inspiring story was documented in a new film by DC, and we were lucky enough to screen it at 1700 Naud the other night. A solid crowd turned out for the film and photo exhibition at our DTLA space, and the man of the hour even jumped on the mic to impart wisdom and tips on how we can all move towards decriminalising skating in our own hometowns.
