“Come to Butt-Head.”
If you grew up in the 90s your parents either let you watch Beavis and Butt-Head or they didn’t. And if they didn’t, you snuck to your nearest homie’s house to watch it ’cause their parents were way chiller and thought the cartoon was as brilliant and hilarious as your stupid ass did. The irreverent MTV show launched creator Mike Judge’s career as one of the great American satirists and sent countless kids to the principal’s office for reciting “inappropriate” one-liners and quotes from the show.
It’s been a whole 25 years since the cartoon originally premiered and sparked national debates on censorship and free-speech, but Beavis and Butt-Head is still one of the funniest, most controversial, (and dare we say smartest) shows ever to air. Which is why Adidas Skateboarding has partnered with MTV to release a limited-edition collection inspired by a day’s work at Burger World, the pair’s dead-end fast-food employer.
