The War on Drugs don’t give a shit if you like them or not.
Adam Granduciel, the main force behind the Grammy-winning band, isn’t driven by fame, success, or notoriety. Instead, he’s looking to write, record, and play—that’s it. Our friends at Fender recently caught up with Granduciel at his rehearsal space in Philly to talk all things music, tour life, War on Drugs, and his vintage Jazzmaster (photos below). And we gotta say, in an age of instant gratification, reality tv, and people being famous for posting photos of their shitty breakfast, Granduciel’s dedication to the craft of songwriting and sonic exploration is absolutely refreshing.
