American artist and graphic designer John Van Hamersveld is a pretty big deal.
Over his extensive career, he’s designed over 300 album covers for the likes of the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Kiss, Beach Boys, and Blondie. Arguably his most recognisable work, however, is iconic poster art for The Endless Summer, which he created in 1964 after the film’s director showed him the opening scene of the movie.
What’s all this got to do with Vans, you say? Well, Vault by Vans have gotten the prolific artist on board to created a collection of nostalgic designs, including his iconic Wave print. Featuring his storied works on Vans’ OG Classic footwear models, apparel silhouettes and skate decks, this eclectic assortment fits in with the ranks of iconic Vault by Vans collaborations. These wearable pieces of art history aren’t going to stick around getting dusty on the shelves for too long, so get in before it’s too late.
The Vault by Vans x John Van Hamersveld collection launches globally on June 23 at select Vault accounts.
