October 3 is my mum’s birthday, but it looks like I’ll be celebrating in Auckland instead. Sorry mum! Converse just announced they’ll be hosting the first ever CONS Project in Auckland, New Zealand, taking place on Oct 3-4, and registration is now open.
The two-day ‘Digital Photography’ workshop showcasing what it takes to shoot, edit, produce and deliver an engaging skate photograph will be led by New Zealand’s largest skateboard publication; Manuals Magazines Co-Founder & Director David Read and Editor & Senior Photographer Jake Mein. The second day of the workshop will finish with a celebration event where each participant’s best prints will be displayed in an exhibition. Local CONS skate team members and friends including Dean Palmer, Levi Hawken, Scott Lai and Tom Kelly will also be on hand to share their expertise with workshop attendees and be photographed in action.
Participation is free. Space is limited. All equipment and materials provided. Bring your board.
