The Geffin Contemporary at the Los Angeles Museum Of Contemporary Art (MOCA) is the only place to be from now through Sunday if you live in Southern California. Actually, even if you don’t, you should be here. Get to the airport and come down here, like… NOW!

The annual Printer Matter’s LA Art Book Fair has become my favourite weekend of the year, when friends from all over the world come together to see the best new works from your favourite artists, photographers, and designers. We have Monster Children magazines available at the Slow Culture booth for HALF PRICE too, so go buy that shit! Last night, Printed Matter hosted an opening preview party with all attendees soaring high as a kite as they inhaled the magic potion that is print media. No need to name drop here, you can see all the magnificent people we ran into last night in the photos below. No Age played to an intimate crowd on the outdoor stage and Thurston Moore is playing on Sunday for FREE. Seriously, buy a plane ticket.
