Portugal. The Man sure like to party. I’m talking like every damn night, and there is no denying it, the boys sure enjoy a beer, so it was beyond fitting when the good folks at Corona invited Portugal. The Man on a mammoth five week national tour of Australia, consisting of twenty-six gigs across four states. And whether it was flinging themselves out of a plane at an altitude of 15,000ft over the beaches of Wollongong or getting lost around secret swimming holes in the Byron Hinterlands the boys maximised every second of time they had in the land down under. But all good things must come to an end right?

The final show of the Portugal. The Man tour was held last night at Alberts rooftop in Neutral Bay. The select crowd consisting of a handful of lucky fans, gathered under the sinking sun to down a few Corona’s and watch the intimate set, with the Lords of Portland showing no signs of fatigue as they rocked out one last time. The crowd, all familiar with the sounds of Portugal. The Man sung along to the set, beer in one hand, taco in the other (thanks to the good folks at Chica Bonita).

A few handshakes and a few more beers after the gig and the tour was done and dusted, then it was onto Frankies Pizza joint for some more beers and a night of debauchery.

Thanks to Corona Extra for having us on as a tour partner and a big thank you to Portugal. The Man for the last five weeks, you guys are alright.
