IT’S NEARLY SUMMER IN THE SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE AND NEARLY WINTER UP NORTH. WHICH LEAVES OUR BELOVED CHAIN OF HAWAIIAN ISLANDS SOMEWHERE PLEASANTLY (WHILE A LOT CLOSER TO CONTINENTAL US) IN THE MIDDLE. WINTER ON THE NORTH SHORE ISN’T JACKETS AND 4/3’S IT’S TRUNKS AND TEE’S WITH A SLIGHT CHANCE OF HAVING YOUR HEAD KICKED IN BY THE REEF AND SOME OF THE NOT SO NICE LOCALS.
Conner Coffin puts all that side aside and as a Californian kid he’s stoked to be in warmer waters. Unfortunately Conner went down this morning in the Vans World Cup of Surfing at Sunset, but here’s a little wrap of his progress at the Haleiwa prime event. We could watch this kid for days. Let’s all hope he’s on tour real soon.
When you’re done watching, check out Conner Coffin’s ‘The Other’.
