The creative crew behind Mad Minds presented their first ever group exhibition ‘Finger Food’  last night at the Mad Minds/Misfit head quarters in Mona Vale and the turnout for the evening was thumbs up.

The refurbished surf board factory traded in the torn out pictures from Tracks magazines dating back to the early 80’s, naked images of women sporting some serious 92′ bush and off cuts of foam for freshly painted white walls and some down lights in aid of the nights launch with the space coming together like a hand to a titty.

The night itself was wild with people pouring in the door to take in the works of the 12 talented artists (Otis Carey, Jack Irvine, Cloudy Rhodes and Rad Dan to name a few) whose work was on display and within no time the place was chockas. The free Bintang lasted about as long as your first sexual experience and those with a good foot pace did a run to the bottle shop returning with beverage choice hidden behind brown paper bag whilst the desperate sniffed tins of surfboard resin for kicks.

The gang at Flamingos and Dingos cooked up some mean burgers whilst Rad Dan played what could of easily been his parents vinyl collection. No complaints.

The Finger Food exhibition is hanging all weekend – 3/8 Wilmette PL, Mona Vale. and all works are for sale.
