Dirty Paradise

Focusing mainly on the Indonesian street life, I quickly came to the realization that it’s nothing like back home where most things are taken for granted. I tried to document the culture that Bali conveys in the simplest yet most complicated form using photographs. Nasi goreng, ice-cold bintangs, cheap taxi rides, perfect waves, traffic congestion and don’t forget the day-to-day rules. Good, because there are pretty much no rules. That is unless you believe bodyboarding cases are the ideal storage component. Two words best describe Bali: Dirty Paradise. It’s dirty alright, except the place is the closest thing you could come to heaven … – Harrison Dancaster
