MC Photo Competition ’13

Do you have a camera? Do you know how to use it?

Do your friends often tell you that you take good pictures? If you answered yes to all three of these questions you might consider entry into the Monster Children 2013 Photo Competition. This is the 3rd time we’ve run the comp and, as always, we’re giving away a boat-load of loot thanks to our sponsors–Corona Extra, Contiki, Rollas, Rusty, and Bulleit Small Batch Whiskey. The Prize Pool this year is $25,000, with $5,000 to win in each category: Travel, Culture, Girls, Action, Black & White. There’s also a Student category and the winner will receive a Monster Children prize pack valued at over $500, plus a lifetime subscription, and by lifetime we mean until-you-die. That’s roughly 60 years of free MC. Even when you’re too old to give a shit about skateboarding, surfing, boobs, art, and whatever else you’re obsessed with right now, we’ll keep sending the mag to you. It will drive you insane. Just a heads up.

The Competition Starts on August 13th, and ends on September 6th at exactly 5pm (AEST). The competition is open to both professional and amateur photographers and the entry fee is $5 per photo (unlimited entries allowed so long as you have unlimited fivers). The Student category is free to enter if you are a pimply, self-conscious, overambitious student.
