adidas Skateboarding has called upon team riders Shin Sanbongi and Filip Almqvist to debut their new footwear staple, the Matchbreak Super.
Inspired by archival silhouettes, the new release from the Three Stripes is a reminder that you can’t go wrong with the classics. What’s so good about the new and improved Matchbreak Super, though? Well, it’s got a seamless interior, rubber Adituff toebox, and a molded adiPRENE sockliner to create a glove-like fit between the foot, shoe, and board. Beautiful. It’s also got high foxing tape on the outside to protect against wear-and-tear, which is a cool thing to tell your friends, even if your new shoes are perched up on an office chair from the hours of 9-5 every day.
Matchbreak Super will be available January 30th in two colourways (Crystal White S16 / Collegiate Navy / FTWR White and Core Black / FTWR White / Gold MET) on the adidas Skateboarding website and select retailers.
In other news from adidas Skateboarding, they’ve recently released one of the most star-studded ads we’ve ever seen to celebrate their new Jonah Hill-directed film, Change is a Team Sport. Check it out below.
