e quartet, Drawn from Bees have grown their audience in the time-honoured way, by quietly winning people over one show at a time.
Within weeks of its release, The Boy and the Ocean enjoyed support from independent radio stations around the country – most notably Triple R, FBI, Triple Z and Richard Kingsmill’s Triple J flagship show, 2008. Drawn from Bees’ music has even managed to travel as far as being featured on independent radio in the UK and US.
