It sounds like that scene in Happy Gilmore when Happy goes to his happy place and his belle sitting there in lingerie with a jug of beer in each hand and his grandma’s pulling a one-armed bandit that perpetually comes up cherries.
As if The Libertines, Phoenix, Justice, Car Seat Headrest, Beck etc. weren’t enough to get you to Sydney’s newest festival, Sydney City Limits, our pals from up the road will also be churning out the best burgers in town for the masses; a certified step up from the traditional gruel served up at festivals. And that’s not all. Taking it one step further, Jake and Kenny (Mary’s Massive) have been enlisted as the official food curators (buzzz) of the festival. Seeing that they’re community-minded fellas, it’s not surprising that they’ve enlisted the help of some of their fellow Newtowners to handle the task at hand; just so happens that the suburb’s pretty much the best place to eat in the whole city.
Fratelli Paradiso, D’Orazio, Porteño’s, Hartsyard, Bad Hombres, Rising Sun, Fat Fish, Paper Bird, Artificer, O Tama Carey and, obviously, Mary’s, will be providing the food. If you’re not a Broadsheet regular then hit Google, but take it from us—food’s gunna be fucked, up.
