Ian Crane’s a bona fide larrikin.
And that’s something that, despite being one of the founding pillars of the movement, is sadly lacking in the surf world. The kid who grew up in sticker-head Kolohe Andino’s shadow, Ian’s now fully emerged, and his backside rail-work in particular, is quite the thing of beauty. Apart from anything, I wanted to know how may of you would actually fall for this. Come for the starlet creep show, stay for the Crane. Is it a subversive jab at internet culture? Did the guy just want people to watch his surfing? Or is it something else entirely? Who knows, but one thing’s for sure: sometimes the lowest hanging fruit tastes the sweetest.
