Clean out your peculators and preheat your ovens to 400°F, cause it’s time for a damn fine cup of Joe and a slice of cherry pie.
May 21 is the day Agent Cooper and co will re-enter your life after a 25 year absence, with the Twin Peaks revival debuting on Showtime at 9 p.m. with a two-hour premiere. Immediately after the premiere, the third and fourth episodes will reportedly be available to watch online via Showtime, so that’s four straight hours of brilliance to devour.
Following that, a new ep will drop each week until all 18 episodes have been screened. Will we finally meet Diane? Did Cooper ever make it out of Black Lodge? Did Annie Blackburn ever recover? There’s only one way to find out. The only thing we can say for certain is that no one has come in or out of Twin Peaks in a quarter of a century, according to the 51,201 population count still painted on the infamous town welcome sign.
