Ludlow Gallery in Orange NSW has it’s opening night next Friday 24th June.
I’m giving you bozos a week’s notice to plan your sick day in time to get there. The gallery is on Lord’s Place (yes that’s the name of the street), out the back of the coffeeshop called Good Eddy.
Orange is a couple of good country miles just over the other side of the Blue Mountains, and it’s a town famous for producing apples, superb wine, some great rugby league teams and is also my place of birth. For all these ripper reasons alone you should go. Add to that – the gallery is founded and curated by one of our favourite humans Sonny Day – one half of the mighty art and design duo We Buy You Kids. www.wbyk.com.au/
Somehow he’s conjured up artworks from greats around the world, like La Boca (UK), Rob Jones (USA) and local faves Toby & Pete , Gemma O’Brien and Sean Morris to name a few. Work will range from paintings to prints to large scale drawings, with live art installations during the opening from giants Georgia Hill and James Jirat Patradoon.
Join these legends in making rural Australia culturally richer in the name of Art. And, it’s sponsored by my favourite Orange wine bandits Borrodell. Start your engines, I’m leaving now. More info on the gallery here.
