Land of the Long White Cloud

Australian Photographer Raptor Blood has traveled to the land of the long white cloud (English translation of ‘Aotearoa’, the Māori name for New Zealand) many times, but this trip was a little different. Earlier this year, he spent the month driving around the beautiful country in a beaten up hire car, washing in lakes and breathing in some of the crispest air his nose has ever known. These are his pictures from the trip, from the rubbled remains of Christchurch’s catastrophic earthquake, to the forest-green peaks of Mt. Egmont.
