The H.M.S. Dingus is an inflatable dinghy with an insatiable thirst for adventure.
Cinematographer and Director Ian Durkin teamed up with nomadic luminary, Foster Huntington, and traveled south from the Pacific Northwest to the Southern reaches of Mexico’s Peninsula. With narration that gives Endless Summer a run for its money, watch as the crew devour fresh caught fish, take to the seas in their trusty dingus, and end up riding some really fun waves along the way. If the 80’s style graphics aren’t enough to have this wandering short steal your heart, wait till the theatrical jazz soundtrack kicks in—you’ll be a goner in no time.
Here’s some extra shots from the road taken by Ian Dirkin to help you keep the dream alive.
