Castel del Monte in Puglia, Italy is a medieval palace originally built as a hunting lodge by the very badass Emperor Frederick II in 1245. Freddy used his background in culture, science and maths to create a whole collection of castles of which Castel del Monte reined supreme. With its set of perfectly octagonal towers, it was a great example of symmetry in medieval building.
This is not Castel del Monte. This is the Vendome and it was built in 1965. The lovely young lass in frame is Lola and she frequents the Vendome. She is however perfectly symmetrical.
