This is really weird, but it sounds like it’ll be cool. ‘20,000 Days on Earth’ is an upcoming movie that sorta-kinda documents 24 hours in the life of Nick Cave. It’s fictional in that much of it is set up–Nick driving the British actor Ray Winston along the Brighton seafront and arguing about the quality of Australian fish n’ chips; Nick watching ‘Scarface’ in his living room with his 12 year-old sons; Nick driving Kylie Minogue to her Aerobics class, etc. But scenes with Nick in the studio figuring out the songs that would become ‘Push the Sky Away’ are totally real, and that makes the documentary…real… I don’t know.
